Finding a raft of Long-tailed Ducks was the highlight at the reservoir this afternoon. Initially found them in the middle by the dam. Soon after spotting them was surprised to see them all dive in unison a couple of times. Normally have seen only one or two Long-tailed Ducks, and they have always just loafed on the water. After that, they flew around the front area a couple of times and then settled in with a large raft of Buffleheads. What a difference a day makes; yesterday I didn't see any waterfowl at the reservoir.
