Hi all,

I headed back to Frostburg for work yesterday, and was able to get out and
do a bit of birding before and after. I started at Finzel Swamp, Garrett
CO. highlights being over 400 PINE SISKIN's; one flock had about 230 in it!
There were also 8 AMERICAN TREE SPARROWS around, and one FOX SPARROW. At
lunch J.B. Churchill took David Yeany and I to Patchapines MD to try and
relocate the LONG-EARED OWL, it was in the same area in which he originally
found it. After work, I headed to North Branch where there were good
numbers of WHITE-CROWNED, FOX, WHITE-THROATED and SONG SPARROWS, as well as
a single AMERICAN TREE SPARROW.

Photos of the Owl and Sparrow can be seen at:

Good Birding!
