Subject: Poplar Island Sightings from November 24,2008

       This report is submitted on behalf of Jan Reese of Talbot County, who
continues to periodically survey the flora and fauna of the Paul Sarbanes
Ecosystem Restoration Project at Poplar Island. 
       Some of the birds were seen from the boat during the trip from
Tilghman Island and back.
	Note particularly the presence of Peregrine Falcon, Wilson's Snipe,
Snowy Owl and 65 Snow Buntings.
			
	Weather: Mostly cloudy am, overcast pm,   Temp: 39-49 degrees F
