Hi Folks,
   I am really puzzeled now!  According to Sibley's map,  (see
attachment) there is no flight path for B. h. hutchinsii in the
eastern US.  The birds seem to fly directly across the mid-USA
to the coasts of Texas and Louisiana.
   So what subspecies are birders referring to when they ID a
cackling goose in Maryland?
