I am the person who asked about binocular repair for my Swift Audubon
8.5/42s a couple of weeks ago.  

I got several personal responses.  Two folks recommended I.
Miller Optical in Philadelphia, and I sent them off after talking to
someone there, only to get a call from Mr. Miller saying that he
doesn't/can't work on waterproof binoculars.

Swift doesn't do repairs anymore and they referred me to Land, Sea and
Sky in Houston.  That's where my bins are now.  The quoted price to
repair them was $85 plus $10 S&H.   If anyone's interested, I'll be
happy to let you know how they did once the bins are back in my hands.
