Hi Everyone,

While Mike Walsh was finding an Ash-throated Flycatcher in Somerset County, I was at the OC Inlet patiently waiting for a King Eider to swim out from behind the south jetty. No luck there, but I had very nice views of the young male Common Eider near the inlet side of the south jetty and somewhat glare-impaired views of the Harlequin Duck. It was a nice day for jetty watching, even with the heavy boat traffic, and I was joined by Scott Housten and Lance Biechele for part of the time. It's worth noting that I was scanning the inlet for a good 2 hours before the Harlequin Duck came into view at the tip of the south jetty, so maybe the King Eider is still around too and was just out of view during my visit. For all I know, Lance is looking at it now as I type! The list follows...

Have fun,
