Bob Augustine and I spent over an hour checking out the large corn stubble
field on the northeast corner of Rt. 85 and Oland Rd. in Frederick County
this afternoon.
We found many (100+) Horned Larks; Bob scoped and ferreted out a couple of
skulking Lapland Longspurs; and we had 3 or 4 flying around and over Snow
Buntings.
Unfortunately, every time the Buntings landed, it was on the other side of
hill where we could not see them on the ground.
Also a couple of nice kestrels on the nearby wires.
