At 7:45 this morning, I relocated the Greater White Fronted Goose on the Georgetown Prep golf course. The bird was mixed in with a small group of about 20 Canada Geese at the far south end of the course. The group was on the western slope above the small pond. It was not visible from the road bounding the western side of the course (the road between the course and the buildings) but it would be visible from the sidewalk on Rockville Pike directly across from the Strathmore Center entrance. The best vantage point was from behind the new apartment complex called "Inigo's Crossing" off of Tuckerman. There is no public parking at Inigo's, but there is a dog walking area to the right of the leasing office at the front of the building that wraps around behind the building to overlook the course.

Good luck if you try for the bird,
