Horned Grebes on Potomac

On my way to work this (Monday, 12/1) morning, I did a quick spin around
the Tidal Basin.  Highlight was a tight flock of 78 HORNED GREBES on the
Potomac River between Roosevelt & Memorial Bridges.  Could have been
more as they were diving and the light levels were kind of low.  Only
other birds of note in the area were 8 RUDDY DUCKS and 2 LAUGHING GULLS
in with the HERRINGS, all on the Tidal Basin.
