I stopped by Black Hills yesterday afternoon around 3. Waterfowl are becoming more numberous and varied. Besides the usual I saw Gadwall, Widgeon, Common Goldeneye (not seen by me) and eight tundra swans who drop in for 30 minutes. I also got a good view of the resident Bald Eagle in the scope--always nice but particularly so in the freezing cold.
