Hello all.
I checked out the Brandon Woods-Chestnut Hill-Stoney Creek Park area of Pasadena this morning. Good sparrow numbers and 2 Pine Siskins were highlights. The area has a variety of habitats that include some mature woods but more importantly some good thickets and pockets of brush.

Chestnut Hill Cove-Stoney Creek Park-Solley Road (approx 3 miles)

Red-shouldered Hawk: 1 adult
Fish Crow: 1
American Robin: 40+
Hermit Thrush: 1
Carolina Chickadee: 6
Tufted Titmouse: 9
White-breasted Nuthatch: 2
Eastern Towhee: 3
Song Sparrow: 8
Savannah Sparrow: 2
Swamp Sparrow: 1
Fox Sparrow: 2
White-throated Sparrow: 35
Dark-eyed Junco: 60+ Two good-sized flocks
Northern Cardinal: 12
Pine Siskin: 2 close to townhome area of Chestnut Hill
American Goldfinch: 6
