Does anybody know of a birding guide (i.e. the best spots, etc) for the
Adirondacks and where to get it? That might be next year's destination. It
is a big place and targeting the best spots would save a lot of time. We
stopped on our way to the rest of New England several years back but hardly
did it justice and if I recall, we lost some time to bad weather. I've been
wanting to give it another chance ever since, but somehow always wound up
somewhere else. Last year was Minnesota.
Please reply off list to  . Otherwise the whole list
might want to go and that could make for a crowded little pickup truck.
