On Monday, Dec 29, I made a quick trip to Kent Narrows and the Chesapeake 
Bay Environmental Center.  The Narrows held the usual Mallards, 2 female 
Longtailed Ducks and 2 Coots.

I just went to the boat launch area at CBEC.  Approximately 500 Canvasbacks 
plus large numbers of Scaup (sp), Ruddy Ducks and Buffleheads were there 
plus a male and female Hooded Merganser.  the walk back to the car was a 
treat when a swarm (maybe 10) of Brown Headed Nuthatches started feeding 
along the trail.
