Hi Everyone,

I'm posting the following message for Brad Lanning:

"...We had a nice day birding yesterday for the Washington County CBC. I birded with Dr. Floyd Murdoch and Dr. Jim Smith. Our sector was the vicinity of the Nature Center, Mt. Aetna Rd., Whitehall Rd., and partially up the mountain to Black Rock. The highlights from our personal count were as follows: a flock of 6 Cackling Geese in the big pond at the Nature Center. They were swimming around amongst the 180 Canada Geese. Nice photos were digi-scoped in good morning light. This was a new species for our sector of the count as well as the Nature Center list! Very exciting! A flock of 15 Pine Siskins that we found in a secluded area off of Mt. Aetna Rd., and a Northern Pintail found amongst some Mallards in a small pond off of Rt.66 a mile or so North of the circle with Mt. Aetna Rd... Sincerely, Brad"

Good birding,

Bill
