Greeted the new year with a resounding snore last night.
This morning awoke to one of hubby's world class sneezing fits. The bug that's been trying to get me has finally settled into a nice case of viral bronchitis.
The back yard birds are very busy on this cold morning. The usual suspects - Carolina Chickadees, Tufted Titmice, Northern Cardinals, Carolina Wrens, House Finches, White-throated Sparrows, Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Downy Woodpeckers, Juncos. An Eastern Bluebird is lurking at the edge of the yard. Not so usual for my yard this time of year is a nice pair of Purple Finches.
