Len Bisson asked me to post the following for him:

He and another birder found a Common Loon at Black Hill Regional
Park, Montgomery County, this morning (January 3) at about 11:00
a.m.. They 'scoped it from the Visitors Center deck for several minutes.

Also of note, Len reports, were 5 Pine Siskin, 2 Common Goldeneye, 1
Bald Eagle, 2 Common Mergs, and MANY Hooded Mergs from the same
location. They also had the usual suspects: Coot, Bufflehead and Ring-necks.
