The Pine Siskin invasion in Maryland has been remarkable, but it isn't 
confined to the northeastern US, or even the northern US.  I just 
returned from Texas, where my son has had PiSi at his feeders in 
Houston, and we also saw a couple at the Frontera Audubon Sanctuary in 
the Lower Rio Grande Valley.
