Hi all on Fri 1 - 9  I caved to the pressure  of the Recent sighting  of The Male  Tufted Duck  in Cambridge Maryland . So  I  left  work at about 12:30 to make the drive down to Cambridge were I was able to get some looks at the Tufted Duck  from the spots near and at   the Red shack   . Also had a brief  look at the Eurasian Wigeon   .   Good looks  at    Canvasbacks , American Wigeon , Both scaup , Mallard ,  Black Duck  1 , Bufflehead  . American Goldeneye   and scores of other birders  some of whom I know or have met before some of whom  I had not . 
2009 is of to a roaring start .
