Just before we were shutting the front door to go after the Barrow's Goldeneye yesterday, a "wave" of Pine Siskins arrived at our feeders, chasing off a few Goldfinches, and occupying all the stations plus the ground. Maybe 15-20 of them. Out of the blue -- before this we had seen, at the most, 6-8 together, & they have been around now every day for over a week.
Other than that, a Sapsucker eating Nandina berries and low numbers (for our feeders) of Juncos, White-throats and Song Sparrows. However this Alberta Clipper may bring in more goodies so watching carefully!
