Bob and I stopped in at the Cambridge Waterfront late this afternoon on the
way back from OC, where we were chatting with others about the finds for the
day. A guy from the office there at the "public" waterfront area on High
Street stopped us and said that we were welcome to bird along the concrete
pier, but we were not allowed to go along the wooden piers where the boat
slips are. This is the area with the black caps on the pilons. He said if
it were up to him, we could go out there, but because of insurance and
contracts with the boat owners, that the city council say no.
