Hi Folks,

Yesterday afternoon I met Jim Brighton for some limited birding in Carroll
Co. prompted by Bob Ringler's recent reports. At the Study Rd. pond we
found a single male N. SHOVELER with a score of Mallards. The Pintails were
not present. At the pond along Magna Rd. was a CACKLING GOOSE among a
couple dozen Canadas. Our last stop was at Cranberry Reservoir where we
found most of the birds reported by Bob: GREEN-WINGED TEAL (1), REDHEAD (3
males), GREATER SCAUP (1 hen), RUDDY DUCK (1), and AM. COOT (1). Jim was
able to pick up three new county ducks for the outing. Thanks for your
reports, Bob.
