One Red-breasted Nuthatch has occasionally shown himself at my place in
Talbot County. This one was first seen back in November. Then he showed up
on the day of our Christmas Count - vainly wanting to be counted I presume.
He stayed for a few days, then disappeared, only to return today to drink
some of the fresh ice-free water that is available here. He has said
nothing about previous Western Shore visits, so I do not think he is a stray
from feeders of Eileen or Janelle.

Is anyone seeing the red Breasted Nuthatch? In years
past I had at least two Red Breasted Nuthatches at my
feeders. I have not seen one this winter.
Hi all
I am also missing my two Red Breasted Nuthatches that I
had all last winter. No activity by them at the suet feeders
at all. Also, I have yet to see pine siskins in my back
yard. Figuring they haven't hit Bowie yet!!! Haven't given
up hope. They are slowly approaching Bowie, I hope.
