At the C&O canal, lock 6 I saw two turkeys. They were on the island
across from the kayak training course that is below Little Falls. 

I also saw winter wrens, common mergansers along with the usual
chickadees, titmice, white throated sparrows, song sparrows, mallards
and Canada geese.
