I made quick 10 minute stop at Druid Ridge Cemetery at 4:45 and found 26
White-winged Crossbills feeding at the west end of the row of Hemlocks. I
was having a hard time counting them when three Starlings came crashing into
the other side of the trees. The crossbills flushed, spiraled to gain
altitude, then flew away to the south before turning east. A single Pine
Siskin pealed away after the first turn and returned to Hemlocks.
