I'm going to post this extralimital breaking update since there has
been a lot of interest by MD birders ...
I just got a call from Joe Hanfman. He woke up at 2 am this morning
and decided to go for the gull. He found it this morning in Plymouth
where it was yesterday, not in Glouchester (about an hour away) where
it has been before. He was alone and found it in Plymouth near the
intersection of Fremont Street and Stevens Lane. Then it moved to the
Plymouth Yacht Club, where he got permission to enter. Finally, it
flew toward Plymouth Rock and he did not locate it after that.
He texted a message to Kevin Graff and was going to try to contact
Gail and Barry who are on their way.
I'll copy some local MA birders on this message, too.
Good luck.
Phil
