Check it out. I took this series of photographs today at the North East Town Park. We sometimes foolishly question nature, and it just seems to take care of its self. The two things that I questioned were.
1.How does that Heron survive in this cold weather with only one small opened area of water in all of that ice?
Answer. It catches large slow moving shad.
2. How will that Heron swallow that slow giant shad?
Answer. Very carefully!
