Greetings:

The snowy owl is currently present at Oxford Lab, perching on various structures on the waterfront.

Visiting birders are reminded that they MUST check in with the receptionist, and are restricted to the parking lot to view the owl. Please don't drive in and skip this procedure in your desire to see the owl.

Under no circumstances may birders travel down the gravel driveway towards the waterfront/dock, either by vehicle or on foot, or walk in front of the building. There is a spotting scope set up inside for the benefit of birders.

Access to the Laboratory grounds is permitted ONLY between 8 am and 4:30 pm on weekdays. A specific request for a change in this policy on behalf of birders has been denied.

Other locations with a view of this part of the facility grounds are from Rhonda Avenue, just outside the gate, and Bachelor Point Road.

Thanks everyone for your cooperation.
