I missed Joe's crossbills by an hour and a quarter. So looked at waterfowl instead. I spent at least a half an hour studying snoozing scaup, the head shape of which suggested Greater to me. The peak of the head on both consistently appeared forward of the eye. They only popped heads up when I was not paying attention, so I hesitate to say definitely, and will leave it to smarter people than me.

But about 4:15 the Canadas came in, with one, high, squeaky voice among them. Once they landed, I scanned, and there it was, the Greater White-fronted Goose.

Also present:

Canvasback - 9
Ring-necked Duck - I didn't count, maybe 1 1/2 dozen
Bufflehead - 2
Hooded Merganser - 2-3
Ruddy Duck - 1
