This afternoon, two bald eagles just upriver from the new Great Falls nest copulating. A nice mix of ducks a little further upriver -in front of the old nest-and upriver from there. Groups of 20 or so Redheads, a few Canvasbacks, Hooded Mergansers, Common Mergansers, Ring-necked Ducks, Bufffleheads, a considerable number of Northerns Shovelers, Mallards, the usual Canada Geese and I, Phil, saw a male Gadwall.
