Hi all. Chris Starling, Kevin Graff and I set out this morning bound and determined to find some White-winged Crossbills up here in Cecil County. Our intention was to split up, and being that Chris got there and started before Kevin and I, the plan was working. Kevin spotted a flock in the air, they had the right sound shape and color, but we couldn't locate where they landed. Chris called 10 minutes later and said he had located them a few trees away from where he had them yesterday, so we went over to get them.
Here are my results. This was a photography life bird for me. Very exciting!

We had located them in a couple other areas in the golf course as well. They have wings. Also, they were not as vocal. They still made them selves noticed but I think they are so busy stuffing there stomachs they don't have time to call.
