Re: Ross's Goose at Lake Artemesia - picture

I met Chris on my way out of Lake Artemesia and wish I could take credit for
alerting him to the Ross's Goose, but I not only neglected to remember the
Snow Geese when I first told him what I had seen, but also didn't even
notice the Ross's at all!  I looked back at some pictures I took of the
geese and am fairly certain I identified one of them.  The photo is here for
those interested:

It's not the best photo, but I think it pretty clearly shows the smaller
beak size. I'd certainly welcome comments from those with more expertise.

Thanks to all responsible for the sightings and reporting on these beauties
and to Joe Hanfman for pointing me in the right direction for both the
Ross's and the Cackling goose once I got there at 3:00.  Robert Ostrowski
also says there's a redhead on the south part of the lake, but I was too
lazy to walk to that side.
