I'm posting this for Sherry Peruzzi because she doesn't have access at the
moment.

The White-winged Crossbills were still present at Centennial Park in Howard
County this afternoon, in a row of spruce trees just east of the playground.
Use the same entrance (south entrance, off Rt. 108) as previously reported,
but continue straight. The road ends a parking lot loop; go around the loop
so you're facing back the way you came. There's a row of spruce trees on the
right, up a slight hill from the parking lot. I watched a flock of approx.
15-20 going from tree to tree from 2:10 to about 2:40.

The best view is from the field on the other side of the trees because most
of the spruce cones are on the sunny southern side. There's a bonus in this
location -- there are two picnic tables at just the right distance from the
trees so you can sit comfortably while watching (or waiting for) the
crossbills. :-)
