Hi all just a quick report that yesterday afternoon 2 - 11 - 09 I made a mad dash down to Oxford Maryland arriving just before the Lab Closed were I signed in and was able to view the Snowy Owl on it regular perch behind the building for a few minutes before I had to move on . I then went down near the Boatyard mentioned by Jim Brightion and the Snowy Had relocated itself to the chimney of a near by house were I enjoyed extended scope looks at it . At one point the owl extended its neck out and did a head bob thing I have only seen in nature films before that . Quite a thrill . My thanks go out as well to Carol and Jim for posting Owl sightings for the Day .
