We looked for the Greater White-fronted Goose in Solomon's around noon today. We did not find it among the fifty or so visible geese in the field, so we parked at the public beach and walked along the shore until we saw a flock of about sixty geese in the water, including the GREATER WHITE-FRONTED.

Shortly afterward, the flock left the river and flew into the field, where the Greater White-fronted was easily found due to its colorful legs.
