Greetings:

The Oxford snowy owl has been perched on the main COL building since about 8 am, on the wing closest to the river and the gate, and seems quite contented to stay there for awhile. The bird is easily seen from Rhonda Avenue. Birders wishing to view it from the Lab property should do so from the lobby after checking in. Please consider that the Lab closes at 4:30, and I like to go home too ;-) If you plan to come later in the day I'd appreciate a call or e-mail to my work accounts: 410-226-5193 x124 or cmccollough at dnr dot state dot md dot us.

Thanks.
