I had over 20 siskins hanging around at the feeding station in my backyard, and the conditions looked good to get them to eat out of my hand. I got some photos--it's not easy using my free hand to try to take a photo while the bird is on my other hand--but only one is half decent. I saved 3. THESE siskins are Maryland siskins of course, unlike those in the better photos I sent a couple of months ago (from Nebraska).
Still enjoying a brown thrasher that's hanging around, pecking around the birdbath and at the suet. It's nice to see the bright flashes of yellow, more apparent now, on some of the siskins.
I don't have a link where people can conveniently go, but I'll be happy to send at least one photo to anyone who might be interested; just let me know.
