Try Quarantine Rd, which runs north from Exit 1 of I-695. I'm pretty sure the landfill Kevin mentions is on the east side of this small road. i just checked it our on Google Earth and it's the only place the fits Kevin's description.

Good luck to anyone who searches!

Subject: [MDOSPREY] Snowy Owl relocated in bad spot

Hi all,

I left Ft Mac at 915am on way to Ft Armistead Park to get better view of a large white object I scoped out at Ft Carroll sitting on a wall, viewing from seawall at south end. Via I 695 and saw a large white bird turned out to be a Snowy Owl sitting on a hill at a landfill. I'm not sure exactly where I am as I was driving along the beltway near the Key bridge toward the park. No access to landfill.

Jim Peters and I relocated Red-necked Grebe he and Keith had earlier. Few ducks and will post full report soon.
