I am scheduled to lead a field trip for the Montgomery County Bird Club on Saturday, February 28.  A few people have signed up and the weather looks OK for that date.  If you are interested in joining Gwen and me to do some local Charles Co birding contact me off line.

I don't want more then twelve birders, so first come first serve.

The meeting location will be the Safeway Parking lot in La Plata on the north side of the gas station.  The Safeway is on the left as you enter La Plata, and off Rt. 301 heading south.  Find your way to Rt. 301 from the beltway and head south until you come into the sprawl now know as La Plata.  Coming from the north you will pass through the sprawl called Waldorf first.  Eventually it will be sprawl all the way to the VA line.

Bring scope and any food you want, as well as your regular birding gear.  We will have at least one official bathroom stop along the way.

Email me if you intend to attend.   The start time is 8:00 AM and we will bird until at least noon.  Car pooling will be encouraged as this could be a driving trip to search along the Potomac and Wicomico Rivers.
