I have checked a ton of spruces and as many hemlocks as I can find in 
Rockville, Gaithersburg, Germantown area over past few weeks. Finally 
today in Germantown at corner of Roger Dr and Burdette Ln adjacent to 
Soccerplex I found a female White-winged Crossbill feeding on Norway 
Spruce cones. Mission accomplished!
