Yesterday while driving a few roads for field birds I found a Grasshopper Sparrow feeding with a few Juncos and Song Sparrows on Leverage Rd. They
were feeding on the slope of grass between the road and a tree buffer three telephone poles down from the intersection of Rt 544 and Leverage. It was a nice surprise as I didn't come up with much else. Along parts of Rt 544,Kibler rd and Leverage there were about 65 Horned Larks and only two Pipits (compared to ~75 piptis in the same area on the 1st), surprisingly couldn't find any Snow Buntings or Longspurs.
