Joe Byrnes, Jeff Culler and I birded Schooley Mill Park (Howard County) this morning. Highlights were 8 white-winged crossbills in the conifers between the baseball and soccer fields. Other sightings included wood ducks, hermit thrush, winter wren, and fox sparrow.
