Thanks to Sherman Suter, Leslie Starr, Tom Harten, and Tyler Bell for their
excellent information on where to see woodcocks displaying in Calvert
County.  We decided to go to the American Chestnut Land Trust and as did
lots of other folks who posted from around MD, last night was fabulous for
watching woodcock displays.  We got to see woodcocks right on the trail and
saw displays for about 20 or 30 minutes, thanks to Sherman who came up from
where he was on the trail to let us know the woodcocks were displaying
further down.  The kids (4 and 3 years old) loved it, and also got to see a
few bats.  Definitely a fun thing to take kids to see.
