The highlight from my morning walk around Schoolhouse Pond included 2 male Blue-winged Teal, which are fairly unusual at the pond. Also present were 9 Green-winged Teal (which have been here for the last 6 weeks or so), 5 Wood Ducks, 2 Towhees, 3 Phoebes, a feeding Osprey, a perched Red-shouldered Hawk, 2 Killdeer, and 1 Wilson's Snipe.

Flyover gulls included Herring, Ring-billed and 1 adult Lesser Black-backed Gull. I have yet to get my first Laughing or Bonaparte's Gulls here this spring. Trumpeter Swan #962 has been around several times this week, but I did not see it this morning.
