On 3/18, I heard what I would have definitively identified as an ACADIAN FLYCATCHER at Soldier's Delight NEA if not for the time of year (see my earlier posting). The bird did its "peet-seet" song (or as I like to call it, its checkmark call) on three occasions. I was curious to know if anyone had any records of Acadians this early in the year. This would be, by far, the earliest record for me-- though I'm not saying it was definitely one as I would have liked to have seen him because of the unusual timing.
Any thoughts?
