Red-necked Grebe at Talbot Fishing Pier on the Choptank just west of
the bridge with a Horned Grebe for a nice comparison
Eared Grebe at 32nd Street in Ocean City with 5 or 6 Horned Grebes for
a nice comparison
Fox Sparrow at Tuckahoe State Park (Caroline County)

Not too much at Terrapin Park in Stevensville but I heard some Pine
Warblers singing and saw a few Sparrows and a some Wood Ducks. Some
Black Vultures were closely gaurding two racoon carcasses.

There were lots of Green Winged Teal and some N. Shovellers at Tanyard
(along Rt 331). There were also over 100 Laughing Gulls there.

A few Gannets were flying by at the inlet and the Red-throated Loons
seemed to be together in a group of about 20 or more. I mostly saw
Black Scoters at the inlet and a few Surf Scoters.

This evening I heard what I'm pretty sure was a begging call from a
young Great-horned Owl just outside the town of Quantico.

Good Birding
