Carolina Wren nest activity: Chickadees were seriously investing the box on
3/7 but Wren started a nest a couple of hours later. No further activity
until 3/19 when both Wrens started serious work. This is a month short of a
day later than last year's record.

Still a few Siskins around.

A pair of Bluebirds have been present since 3/12. Last Bluebird I observed
here was in the late '80's, and that was a brief, one time sighting. These
birds, especially the male, have been visiting the balcony, drinking and
eating sunflower seeds. I'll almost hate to sell the place if this keeps up.
