Hello Everyone,

I spent the afternoon trying to find Long-tailed Ducks and Red-throated Loons in PG County. I didn't have any luck with those two species but had a pleasant day overall. Some of the highlights are below:

Selby's Landing (with my brother Tom):

Greater Yellowlegs -1
Lesser Yellowlegs 2
Wilson's Snipe - 12 (counted 81 here the other day at low tide and there were probably more)
GW Teal ~ 20

Eagle Harbor:

Lesser Scaup - 2
Ruddy Duck - 148

Cedar Haven:

Lesser Scaup - 12
Red-breasted Merganser - 5
Black Duck - 3

National Colonial Farm:

Gadwall - 31
Coot - 600 (this raft has been here at least a few weeks now)
Common Loon - 1 (in breeding plumage)
Horned Grebe - 1
RED-NECKED GREBE - 2

Piscataway Park:

Gadwall - 1
Meadowlark - 1
Barred Owl - 1

Wharf Road:

Gadwall - 33
Lesser Scaup - 2
Common Merg - 16
Ruddy Duck - 303 (my personal high count for PG)
Pied-billed Grebe - 2
Coot ~ 300
