I birded a few spots in Garrett County today specifically Finzel
Swamp, Piney Reservoir, Meadows Lake, Deep Creek Lake (McHenry and
Blakeslee), and Broadford Reservoir.  Highlights were:

Fox Sparrows - 1 at my house (for a number of days now) and 2 at Finzel Swamp
Blue-winged Teal - 2 at Piney Reservoir
Green-winged Teal - 2 at Piney Reservoir
Common Mergansers - 3 at Piney Reservoir
Wild Turkey - 1 near Piney Reservoir and 15 seen from I-68 near Old
Frostburg Road
Gadwall - 4 at Meadows Lake, 6 at Broadford Lake
Am. Wigeon - 3 at Meadows Lake, 4 at Broadford Lake
RN DUCK - 110 at Meadows Lake and 110 at Broadford Lake
COMMON LOON - 2 at McHenry and a whopping 31 at Broadford Lake
HORNED GREBE - 8 at McHenry
RB Merganser - 20 at Broadford Lake
Hooded Merganser - 7 at Meadows Lake, 2 at McHenry, 50 at Broadford Lake
Tree Swallows - 12 at Piney Reservoir.
