All - stopped off at Schoolhouse Pond, Upper Marlboro, this morning, with hopes of snagging a FoY Eastern Phoebe. Heard and then saw one singing the moment I stepped on the boardwalk, but was treated to much more - at least 4 Rusty Blackbirds (which I would have known to look for had I read Fred S's post from last week), as well as an early Grey Catbird. The latter two species were in the small forested streams behind (north side?) of the pond.

    Full list:

	_ Eastern Pheobe (1, possibly 2, singing)
_ Rusty Blackbird (at least 4, with 1 singing and displaying).
	_ Grey Catbird
	_ Hermit Thrush
_ Swamp Sparrow - seemed to be everywhere.
	_ Song Sparrow, singing.
	_ White-Throated Sparrow
	_ Tree Swallow
	_ DC Cormorant
	_ Wood Duck, pair.
	_ Green-Winged Teal, 4.
	_ American Coot
	_ Red-Shouldered Hawk, calling.
	_ Fish Crow, flyover.

       .... Plus the usual.
