After striking out for the 3rd time on the Lapidum gull raririties, I decided to bird Harford County for Spring arrivals. Tydings Memorial park in Havre de Grace was my next stop. Lots of TREE SWALLOWS flying around with one ROUGH - WINGED SWALLOW that caught my eye after I heard it's raspy call. Nothing else out of the ordinary. Next stop was Swan Harbor Farm, where at least half a dozen WILSON'S SNIPES, hid well in the marsh grasses until flushed. A CASPIAN TERN flying in the direction of the Susquehanna was a nice surprise. Not much in terms of waterfowl, a few GREEN WINGED TEAL and NORTHERN PINTAIL. A single BARN SWALLOW amongst the many TREE SWALLOWS, harrassed a poor AMERICAN KESTREL trying to mind it's own business on the telephone wire.
